Heavy Duty Bain Marie - Single Unit - 70cm Deep - Gas

A reliable bain marie is the perfect device to heat food evenly, without it burning or separating. It's ideal to help you cook food slowly, as well as to keep it warmer for longer. A bain marie is a great way to help keep large amounts of food warm for big groups of people, which makes it very handy to have in places like canteens and for catered events.

Do you work with ingredients that should not get too hot in case they burn or separate? Then this bain marie that works on gas is ideal for helping you melt chocolate or heat sauces, for example. It offers a perfect way to cook food, as well as keep it warm. Fill the bain marie manually with water and the monoblock water basin is completely watertight. To remove the water, you can quickly and easily drain it off using the drain tap. The burner underneath the water basin is made from stainless steel.

Compatible with GN containers

This professional bain marie is suitable for use with 1/1 GN containers. These are not included but can be ordered separately through our webshop. The maximum height of the GN containers that you can use is 15cm. The thick stainless steel and the ergonomic design ensure efficient and quick heating of products. The temperature in the bain marie can be set up to 90ºC using the thermostat. The water in the bain marie never gets hotter than 100ºC, so the temperature of the food never rises above 100ºC and it cannot boil or burn. This bain marie is also equipped with an indicator light that shows when the right temperature has been reached. 

Easy cleaning

A bain marie doesn't usually get very dirty during normal use. To clean the appliance, turn it off and remove the GN containers. Be careful because hot water droplets can drip off the trays. The GN containers can be put in the dishwasher. Drain the water from the bain marie using the tap. The inside and outside are made from smooth stainless steel so it can simply be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Finally, dry all the parts and put the bain marie back together.
